Home remedies For Hair Loss

One time and again our focus is our hair because the first thing which gets effected to due stress such as worry and anxiety is our hair. We lose hair left and right. Average hair loss is about 100 strands a day. Iron deficiency is a common cause of thinning of the hair. As a general rule, it is easier to maintain remaining hair than it is to regrow; however, the treatments mentioned will help .Other important cause of hair loss sudden shock, general debility caused by severe or long standing illnesses like typhoid, syphilis, chronic cold, influenza, and anemia; an unclean condition of the scalp which weakens the hair roots by blocking the pores with the collected dirt; and heredity.

Food also plays a very important role in growing our hair. Just outwards application of remedies would not help what we have internally plays a important role. We should have food rich in high in vitamin A, B, C, E and K. There are few food which do more for are hair specially magnesium, selenium, sulfur, silica and zinc are important minerals required for healthy hair. The hair is comprised mostly of protein.

Here are some of the home remedy which are very useful and effective to prevent hair loss
If one wants to grow hair, trim the hair every one-month.

Apply coconut oil and leave for an hour before hair wash

Apply Castor oil mixed with sesame oil and leave it for 30 minutes before hair wash.

Apply curd and curry leaves paste with a few drops of lemon and leave it for 30 minutes before hair wash. This is one of the best home remedies there is as it helps to maintain the hair color and thickens it as well.

Fenugreek seeds should be soaked over night and grind it to paste and apply it mixed with curd for 30 minutes before hair wash.

Wash your hair with mild shampoo

Don’t comb your hair backwards

Wash your hair with shikakai powder mixed in rice starch it is very mild and prevents hair loss.

Amla (Indian gooseberry) powder can also be mixed together with curd and applied for 30 minutes before hair wash.

Egg white mixed with curd can be applied for 30 minutes this not only prevents hair loss but also leaves hair shining.

Conditioning the hair is also very important which can be done by applying fenugreek seed paste it leaves the hair soft and supple otherwise there is always branded conditioners available but choose wisely according to your hair type.

  1. Awesome website. I've been battling hair loss for many years and it's great to have so many remedies to try out. Your site is so packed full of great information. Your article on Iron is very informative. Have you ever tried homeopathic iron? It's called Ferrum met. For anemia 3x - 6x is good and it will heal many of the underlying gynecological conditions that usually go hand in hand with iron deficiency. It doesn't create any of the problems that go with the usual doses of iron.
