Food for Dazzling Nails

Nails are very important in one’s appearance. When we meet someone we usually shake hand, the first impression is that the person has beautiful hand well kept nails or unkempt hand or nails .It is very important to keep our nails neat and clean at all times and not just for appearance. Just imagine we use our hands for practically to do everything. We touch our hair, face everything with our hands and some times we just accumulate dirt in finger nails.
Dazzling nails are very easy to achieve and maintain all we have to do is have an healthy diet and maintain it. Maintenance is very easy for most of us we could go get a manicure, and get our hands cleaned and painted. If we disregard our nails and don’t take care to clean them at home we could get finger nail fungus. So we should clean them at all times.

Nutritious food for nails
All we have to do now is to have nutritious food and our nails will be talked about. Nails can tell our eating habits very easily by just looking at its pallor. Biotin is one of the most essential nutrient for nails. Eat food rich in biotin such as soy, brewer’s yeast and whole grains. Biotin, also known as vitamin H, is of great importance for the biochemistry of the humans. Biotin is typically found in liver, egg yolk, cereals, legumes and nuts. Intestinal bacteria produce a small amount of biotin, which may be absorbed and contribute to daily needs. Egg whites contain a chemical that binds to biotin very strongly and prevents it being absorbed into the blood from the intestines. Biotin deficiency causes fatigue, depression, nausea, muscle pains, hair loss, and anemia. Biotin is water-soluble

Eat food rich in sulfur and silicon like broccoli, fish, and onions. Drink fresh carrot juice as often as possible as it is rich in calcium and phosphorus and good for strengthening your nails. Ensure that half of your diet is made up of fresh fruits and raw vegetables. This will supple your nails with vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Deficiency of vitamin B 12 can lead to dryness, rounded and curved ends and darkening of nails. Eat food rich in zinc to prevent white spots on the nails. Drink plenty of water and fresh fruit juices.

For your nails to be healthy your diet should include a lot of fruits and raw vegetables so that they get the required vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Eat food that is rich in silicon like broccoli, fish and onions. Eat foods rich in biotins like whole grains. Food rich in zinc and vitamin B will strengthen your nails. Fresh carrot juice rich in calcium and phosphorous is perfect for strengthening nails.

  1. Great info. thanks! I have always had paper thin nails even before I ever started having my nails done. My mom has always been on me about diet and so for my nails.
